Furniture Value Chain Connects Under One Roof as IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne, IHF Indonesia and interzum jakarta Open in Jakarta

More than 500 exhibitors for the four shows including IFMAC WOODMAC forming an upstream-to-downstream furniture supply chain during industry week

interzum jakarta, International Hardware Fair Indonesia (IHF Indonesia), and IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne officially opened today at NICE, PIK 2, Jakarta, running 24–27 September 2026. Together, the four shows bring more than 500 exhibitors, forming a single B2B destination spanning materials, components, hardware, and finished furniture. Organised by Nine Koeln Indonesia, with ASMINDO (Indonesian Furniture Industry & Handicraft Association) as an industry partner and co-organiser of IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne, the three exhibitions connect the upstream and downstream sides of the furniture industry through a single platform.
Together, the three exhibitions are part of Indonesia Materials, Manufacturing & Furniture Connect (IMMFC), a wider industry week that also includes IFMAC WOODMAC, running from 23–26 September at JIExpo Kemayoran.

That spirit of collaboration was reflected at today’s opening ceremony, which brought together representatives from government, industry and the exhibition sector, including Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Regional President Asia-Pacific, Koelnmesse; Dedy Rochimat, Chairman of ASMINDO; and Representative of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs. This year's edition brings together a diverse line-up of exhibitors, with international participation from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Turkey, Taiwan, reflecting the shows' growing regional and global reach. Over the four days, the three shows are targeting approximately 15,000 visitors, supported by a Hosted Buyer Programme connecting hosted buyers with exhibitors across the show floor.

interzum jakarta and IHF Indonesia return for their second editions, building on their debut in Jakarta last year. IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne enters a new chapter with new dates, a new venue and an expanded concept. This year’s edition places greater emphasis on hospitality furniture as a growth segment alongside its established residential and interior design offering, supporting its ambition to develop into a regional hub for furniture, design and craft.

"This edition marks a foundational year for our industry ecosystem in Indonesia. Through our new joint venture, Nine Koeln Indonesia, we are creating a more integrated platform that connects the furniture value chain, from materials to finished products. Our focus this year is on quality and structural readiness, laying the groundwork for long-term regional relevance, " said Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Regional President Asia-Pacific, Koelnmesse Pte Ltd.

"For Indonesia's furniture and craft producers, having materials, hardware, and finished goods represented under one roof creates real value, it shortens the distance between sourcing and market, and gives our members direct access to buyers and partners they might not otherwise reach," said Dedy Rochimat, Chairman, ASMINDO.

"As global uncertainty continues to escalate, Indonesia remains committed to strengthening domestic economic resilience and industrial competitiveness, and IFFINA 2026 serves as a strategic platform to expand market access and forge direct relationships with international buyers. The furniture industry has posted double-digit growth of 11.82 percent and has recorded a trade surplus since 2021. Yet with our market share in the United States still at only 0.77 percent, alongside Indonesia's abundant supply of wood and rattan — the country produces more than 80 percent of the world's rattan — there remains significant room to climb from our current position as the 25th largest furniture exporter globally. Given that the industry structure is still dominated by small and medium enterprises, which account for 99.79 percent of total business units, the Government is providing concrete support through fiscal incentives, access to labour-intensive financing, machinery restructuring, and the strengthening of the SVLK (Timber Legality Verification System) to boost domestic value-added production," said Dr. (H.C) Ir. Airlangga Hartarto, M.B.A., M.M.T, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs.

A Connected Value Chain
Collectively, the three shows create a connected furniture value chain into one sourcing platform. interzum jakarta brings together materials and components across three segments: Material & Nature, Function & Components, and Textile & Upholstery, featuring exhibitors including Startha Group, Virgo Laminates, Wana Lestari Industri, Carta, Dekkson, Ocean Centra Furnindo, Prakarsa Uretan Sejahtera, Wright of Hong Kong Limited, Hunter Douglas, Danzer AG, among others. IHF Indonesia adds the hardware and tools that build it, covering five categories from tools and fasteners to home improvement, personal protective equipment, and international supplier networks, with exhibitors including Sheda Tools Indonesia, Dekorindo Mandiri, PT. Gisma Cipta Sukses, PT. Shibataya Engineering, CV. Karya Nasional Engineering, Zhejiang Urus Tools Co., Ltd, among others. IFFINA+ powered by imm cologne completes the chain with finished furniture and interior products, featuring exhibitors including Rifyo, LUAR, Every, Sol by PDM, Alessio, Latif Living, Livante by Wisanka, Enviro, Vivere, CG Interior x Indofitting, Homeware International, Wovn Textiles, among others.
For visitors, the value lies in seeing these different stages of the business side by side. In one visit, they can compare materials and solutions, see how they translate into finished products, discover suppliers beyond their usual sourcing categories, and build relationships across the value chain. The shows serve furniture manufacturers, interior designers and architects, wholesalers and distributors, importers and exporters, hardware distributors and retailers, tool manufacturers, construction and building suppliers, and hospitality and property buyers.

Programme and Networking Across Four Days
The Hosted Buyer Programme extends into Business Matching sessions, connecting international and regional buyers directly with exhibitors across the three shows. The joint stage programme, IFFINA+ Talks, brings together voices from furniture, hospitality, design, and material production. Featured speakers include film director Jay Subiakto, architect and hotelier Harry Soedarsono, MBLOC co-founder Jacob Gatot, and LIXIL design leader Yoichiro Tomiyoka, with more speakers to follow.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the co-located shows offer a dynamic lineup of programmes designed to encourage knowledge exchange, networking, and hands-on industry engagement. Highlights at interzum jakarta include Mobile Space, spotlighting a special edition "Mobile Podcast" — a premium mobile studio built inside a vehicle in collaboration with automotive media outlet Otodriver, interior designer Rica Ishak, and autobody manufacturer Delima Mandiri. Meanwhile, IFFINA+ and interzum jakarta jointly present the Experience Lab in collaboration with Playo to showcase local material innovation, alongside the 100+ Designers Club — an exclusive networking track hosted by acclaimed interior designer Lea A. Aziz to connect leading designers and premier brands. Adding to the interactive experience, International Hardware Fair (IHF) Indonesia presents the DIY Class, DIY Fest, and DIY Workshop, delivering hands-on demonstrations, technical skill-building, and professional certification opportunities for industry visitors collaborating with ArchLabs and Gamma (the Federation of Indonesian Metalworking Industries).

Looking Ahead
By bringing different parts of the furniture value chain closer together, the 2026 editions are designed to encourage greater cross-sector sourcing, collaboration and exchange between businesses that may not traditionally meet within the same trade fair environment. Beyond the four days of the exhibitions, the aim is to build stronger links across Indonesia’s furniture ecosystem and connect its capabilities more closely with regional and international markets.
